What's added on top of Growth Engine
Six bespoke operational modules.
Everything in Growth Engine stays. Operations Engine adds the modules that go past marketing into how your business actually runs. Each one configured to your stack, your volume, and the integrations you already have.
01
Stock Forecasts + Reorder Alerts
Demand forecasts for every product — seasonal patterns, your marketing calendar, competitor moves, viral signals. Reorder alerts before you run out. Dead stock flagged with clearance suggestions. Less capital sitting on shelves.
- Product-level demand models
- Lead time factored in (supplier-aware)
- Dead stock clearance triggers
- Less cash locked in inventory
02
Returns Analysis
Every return analysed — product, channel, customer segment. Inaccurate descriptions and sizing issues fixed at the source. Cohort tracking on high-return customers. Fewer returns once descriptions reflect what shoppers actually receive.
- Root cause for every return
- Product descriptions auto-updated
- Refund vs exchange suggestions
- Path-to-profit analysis per return
03
Fraud Checks on Every Order
ML fraud scoring on every order, well beyond Shopify's basic signals. Custom risk rules (geography, speed, payment, device). Auto-hold on suspicious orders. Fewer chargebacks plus fewer false positives blocking real customers.
- Pre-ship fraud hold workflow
- Chargeback dispute help
- Risk tier by customer + region
- False-positive monitoring
04
Subscription & Replenishment Operations
For brands with subscription products (skincare, food, supplements, pet, beauty), the work doesn't stop at signup. The full subscriber lifecycle handled: pause/skip, churn-risk signals, replenishment timing, win-backs, lifecycle email tied to product cadence. Recurring revenue treated as a system.
- Subscriber churn-risk scoring + win-back triggers
- Replenishment timing tuned to actual usage cadence
- Pause / skip / swap handled in your brand voice
- Works with Recharge, Bold, Loop and native Shopify Subs
05
Ready for AI Shopping Agents
Your catalogue restructured so AI shopping agents (ChatGPT Shopping, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) can read and sell it. Most catalogues we audit are unreadable to AI agents. Schema, specs and compatibility data brought to agentic-checkout standard. Table stakes for 2027 — most brands haven't woken up yet.
- Structured product schema and specs
- Machine-readable compatibility data
- AI-agent checkout flow testing
- Ongoing visibility monitoring
06

A named senior operator owns your account. Weekly strategy call, monthly strategy day with the founder. Custom integrations (ERP, PIM, multi-store, multi-region). Guaranteed response times. Priority queue for bespoke workflows.
- Named senior ops manager
- Weekly + monthly strategy cadence

Partnership model
How this actually works
Every Operations Engine client is assigned a dedicated AI ops manager: a named senior operator who owns your account alongside your team. They run your weekly strategy call, monitor every digital employee, coordinate custom build requests, and act as your single point of contact. The equivalent of a fractional COO, backed by an AI team that does the daily work.
Onboarding takes three to four weeks. We connect to your ERP or warehouse system, build your stock model from 12 months of sales history, plug into your 3PLs, and calibrate fraud rules to your chargeback pattern. This is deep work, which is why the engine is priced for brands that actually need it.
Once live, you get a single Slack channel, one monthly invoice, and one partner responsible for day-to-day outcomes across marketing, customer service, pricing, stock and operations. Your team keeps the relationships, the strategy, and the brand. We take care of the rest.
Operations Engine clients also get a monthly strategy day with the founder. Four hours, agenda-led, focused on the next quarter. That is where we surface opportunities the dashboards alone won't show you.
We used to chase five agencies and three SaaS tools to answer a single question. Now one person owns it end to end alongside us, and the system actually remembers what it decided last week. First time in four years the ops team isn't the bottleneck.”
FAQ
Common questions
Who is Operations Engine actually for?
Shopify brands at roughly £3M to £10M+ GMV that have outgrown the point-solution model. You have an ERP, a 3PL, possibly a warehouse, a support team, and five to eight agencies. Decisions are slow because nobody sees the whole picture. Operations Engine runs every area as one system and gives you one person – a dedicated AI ops manager – who owns outcomes across all of it, alongside your team.
Do you replace my team?
No. We work alongside your team. Your people keep the big calls, brand direction, supplier relationships, and the strategy. We handle the day-to-day across marketing, customer service, pricing, inventory and operations – and your dedicated ops manager becomes your single point of contact.
How is this different from Growth Engine?
Growth Engine covers marketing, content, customer service, pricing and analytics. Operations Engine adds the deeper operational work: stock forecasting, supplier and PO handling, returns analysis, fraud scoring, and warehouse / 3PL coordination. You also get a dedicated ops manager and a weekly strategy call instead of monthly. The morning report widens to cover cash-flow, supplier risk and margin, not just marketing.
Do you integrate with my ERP and 3PL?
Yes. We work with NetSuite, Brightpearl, Linnworks, Cin7, Unleashed, and most major 3PLs (ShipBob, Huboo, James and James, Amazon Multi-Channel). If your system has an API, we can read from and write to it. During discovery we map every integration and confirm scope before you commit to anything.
What does the onboarding timeline look like?
Operations Engine onboarding is 30 days, not 7. Week one is discovery and mapping. Week two we connect data feeds and build your dashboard. Week three we turn on the operational areas one at a time – inventory first, then returns, then supplier flows. Week four we start the morning report and weekly strategy cadence. By day 30 the full system is live and your ops manager is your first point of contact for anything.
What exactly does the dedicated ops manager do?
They own your account. They review every decision the system suggests, catch edge cases the models miss, sit on your weekly strategy call, and are reachable on Slack during UK business hours. Think of them as a fractional COO backed by the full Parallel Agents system – working next to your own people, not replacing them.
Can I start on a lower tier and upgrade?
Most Operations Engine clients start on Growth Engine and upgrade once their GMV and operational complexity grow. If that's where you are, starting on Growth Engine first is sensible. If you already have the scale and the mess, starting here saves months of moving up piecemeal.
How is pricing structured?
Operations Engine is a bespoke partnership, not a productised tier. Scope is shaped to your integrations, volume, operational complexity, and the digital employees you actually need running. We map every layer on the discovery call and agree a flat monthly fee with no surprises. No setup fee. Monthly rolling. 30-day money-back pilot. We'll tell you on the call if it's overkill for where you are — Growth Engine is the right home for most £1M–£5M brands.
What's the cancellation policy?
30 days notice. The first 60 days are a money-back pilot because onboarding is deeper – if the system isn't delivering value by day 60, we refund. You keep every asset, every dashboard, every SOP, every piece of intelligence we've built for you. No lock-in, no restrictive licensing.
